25 april 2017 tu…

  1. Be sure to bring your AP Prep books with you to class tomorrow. No exceptions. Do not leave them at home.
  2. For tonight, please write up another literary outline for another of your “Top 10” list of books to write about on the AP exam. Please have your outline ready to submit at the beginning of class tomorrow.
  3. Some suggestions: How do I cultivate and choose the books I decide to outline?…
  4. One: Go with books you feel something of a passion for, that you really liked, or enjoyed both reading AND studying/thinking about, books that really haunted you and/or stuck with you afterwards.
  5. Two: Consider offering something of a variety with regard to the books you choose, i.e. make sure that you have a comical book or play, a tragic work, a novel, something written recently, something written in ancient times, something Shakespearean, make sure you have at least one play, one novel, perhaps one epic poem, like the Iliad, Odyssey, Beowulf, the Aeneid, or the Ramayana, etc.
